Kids Against Hunger

AAUMC currently supports Kids Against Hunger by serving as a packing site for meals sent to hungry children in the U.S. and starving children around the world.

Compassion Ministry

This organization provides transitional housing and resources to women and children who are homeless or otherwise unable to maintain their current residence. AAUMC helps by providing basic necessities such as household items and groceries.

West Avenue Elementary

Through the adopt-a-school foundation, AAUMC partners with this local elementary school to provide uniforms to students who do not have the means to purchase their own.


Caritas is an organization dedicated to providing food, clothing, household items and travel to anyone who is in need regardless of race, age, sex, or ethnicity. AAUMC helps by collecting items for donation to Caritas.

Arc of McLennan County

AAUMC provides the facilities for summer camp to special needs children, and also houses the administrative offices for this wonderful organization.

Meals & Wheels

Currently we help to deliver meals 3 days a week to families in need of meals all over Waco.

Texas Ramp Project

This organization builds wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people all over Texas. AAUMC has partnered with this life-changing organization to help build ramps in the Greater Waco area.


This volunteer-based ministry provides fellowship to those in the community who are in the early-to-moderate stages of Alzheimer's or related dementia.  There is no cost to the family for this program.  For more information, or to determine if our program can meet the needs of your family, contact Becky Villareal with InterFaith CarePartners at 713.682.5995.
